As of 2023, the Affordability Task Force has completed their work as associated with the university's long range vision.
The Task Force gathered extensive community input between 2018 and 2020. Their focus was to learn more about regional affordability challenges and their impact on those of us living in the Bay Area. As a result of the Task Force work, new programs and services were implemented between 2020 and 2022.
The Task Force was composed of over 70 members, and their work included conducting a comprehensive community survey, holding focus groups, and significant work to analyze results to develop a set of recommendations.
